DualRates operates as a multi-tenant platform where individual organizations ("Clubs") manage their respective memberships. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information Collection and Use

We collect data to facilitate your access to the platform and your specific Club’s data.

A. Authentication Data (Platform Level): Depending on your chosen access method, we collect:

  • Local Account: Your email address and a secure, encrypted version of your password.

  • Social Authentication: If you log in via third-party providers, we collect your email address and name as provided by your public profile.

B. Club-Specific Data (Tenant Level): When you join or interact with a Club on the platform, that Club may collect additional information (such as membership levels, attendance, or specific preferences). This data is managed by the Club Administrator and is hosted by DualRates on behalf of that Club.

3. How We Use Your Data

The data collected is used for:

  • Authentication: Confirming your identity to provide secure access to your account.

  • Multi-Tenant Management: Ensuring you are correctly associated with the specific Clubs to which you belong and managing your roles/permissions within those Clubs.

  • Service Communication: Sending system notifications, account recovery information, or essential platform updates.

  • Club Operations: Enabling Club Administrators to manage their organization’s activities and communicate with their members.

4. Data Relationship: Platform vs. Club

  • DualRates as Processor: DualRates provides the secure infrastructure and database environment to host data. We do not monitor or control the specific member data a Club chooses to collect beyond the basic authentication requirements.

  • The Club as Controller: Each Club is responsible for its own members' data. If you have questions about how a specific Club handles your information, you should contact that Club’s administrator directly.

5. Third-Party Data Protection & Limited Use

Our use and transfer of information received from third-party APIs will adhere to the respective provider's User Data Policies, including Limited Use requirements. We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to outside parties.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Platform Account: We retain your authentication data as long as your account is active.

  • Club Membership: Deletion of your data from a specific Club is managed by that Club’s administrator.

  • Right to Erasure: If you wish to delete your global platform account or request removal of data associated with social logins, please contact us. We will remove your personal identifiers from the platform within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Security

The security of your Personal Information is a priority. We implement industry-standard safeguards, including data encryption, secure transport protocols, and strict multi-tenant isolation to ensure that data from one Club remains inaccessible to others.
